As 2024 comes to a close, Kite Mongolia extends its deepest gratitude to all our partners and collaborators. Your unwavering support has been instrumental in enabling us to effectively support Mongolian startups and foster a thriving social innovation ecosystem.

This past year, we focused on three key areas:

Supporting Startups: We successfully concluded the MICS 2023 program, co-organized with JICA. This is a significant milestone to test our collaborative acceleration approach for our mentoring program. This year, we established our investment arm, KITE DE-FI LLC, and started our angel investor club deals investing in Climate Tech Fund in the USA and investing directly in Mongolian startups.

Driving Social Impact: Our annual Social Innovation Week, a platform for fostering collaboration among stakeholders of social innovation and startups, continues to evolve bringing more international and local partnerships and collaborations within the region including rAISE Singapore and Underdogs KOREA. This year 5 social enterprises received funding through our Donor Advised Program.

Gender Gap Impact: As a Regional Partner for She Loves Tech in Central and North Asia, we continued our efforts of supporting female founders and tech products / services for women, successfully organizing the competition in collaboration with Accelerate Prosperity Uzbekistan and ICT WEEK Uzbekistan. We continue to raise awareness of the gender gap in investments through events such as Funding Her Dreams and others.

We are incredibly proud of the progress made in 2024 and are eager to build upon these successes in the coming year.
