Since the end of January 2022 we have been working with JICA and MMCG on a study of the Mongolian startup ecosystem. This study aims to accurately describe the ecosystem around us, discerning the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and potential that describe it. The notions approached in this study are performance, financing, market reach, talent & experience, connectedness.

Our approach is a qualitative assessment by interviewing key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem. A total of 81 startups, 10 accelerators/incubators and innovation centers, 9 universities and colleges of technology (KOSEN), international development organizations, and government organizations were interviewed as part of this assessment.

The final defense of this study will take place on March 10.
