On October 11, 2023, the She Loves Tech 2023 Global Startup Competition, Mongolia Round will take place at the MNCCI Event Hall in Ulaanbaatar. This event is part of the world’s largest tech startup competition focused on women-led and women-impact businesses.
This year’s event will be even bigger and better, with a partnership with the International Women’s Federation of Commerce and Industry in Mongolia (IWFCI Mongolia) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) for the Digital Solutions for Women Empowerment Forum. This forum will bring together over 80 people from embassies, UNDP, UN ESCAP, financial institutions, and the tech industry to discuss how technology can be used to empower women and girls.
In addition to the forum, the She Loves Tech 2023 Global Startup Competition, Mongolia Round will also feature pitches from eight women-led startups:

- Fibo
- Habido
These startups are working on a variety of innovative solutions, from developing a mobile app for on-demand healthcare services to creating a platform for women to connect with mentors and investors.
The event will also feature a panel discussion on empowering women founders through gender lens finance. The panelists will include Matilda Dimovska, UNDP Resident Representative in Mongolia; B. Erdendelger, KHAN BANK, First Deputy CEO; B. Mand, SLT Mongolia 2021 Finalist (Hello Baby); and B. Temuulen SLT Mongolia 2022 Finalist (Equity Lab).
